Michelle has a sincere desire to work with and help clients meet their individual goals by providing objective financial planning advice. Using knowledge and empathy, and drawing from her experience in the industry, she strives to serve as a guide, empowering clients to make prudent, well-informed decisions about their financial future. Michelle takes great pride in the services she provides, and deeply values the trust and relationships she builds with her clients.
Michelle joined the Socha Financial Group team in 2008. After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University, she had a short stint in NYC as a retail analyst. She quickly learned the big city life wasn’t for her and moved back to her hometown. There, she spent the time fostering her new passion for personal finance. This gave her the opportunity to learn the industry and develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Michelle earned the CFP (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™) designation, is an Enrolled Agent, holds her Life, Accident and Health license in NY and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer for the firm.
Outside of the office, Michelle’s time is spent with her family and friends. Michelle and her husband, Chris, have three young children who keep them constantly on their toes and well-entertained. Together they enjoy spending time at the lake, traveling and attending kids’ sporting events.
