We recently had the joy of sponsoring a special event hosted by the Nonnie Hood Parent Resource Center, and it truly turned into one of those mornings you wish you could bottle up and revisit.

Their “How to Catch a Leprechaun” event was thoughtfully put together and full of little moments that made it feel special from start to finish. The children gathered for story time with Miss Sue, whose storytelling brought so much energy and imagination into the room. From there, the kids got to dive into creativity, designing and building their very own leprechaun traps, each one as unique as the little hands that made them.

The adventure continued with a scavenger hunt, where excitement filled the air as everyone searched high and low for signs of those elusive leprechauns. And in true leprechaun fashion, they managed to stay just out of reach, though not without leaving behind a bit of mischief, including turning the potty green while everyone was out searching.

It was one of those experiences that felt both simple and magical at the same time, where laughter, creativity, and imagination came together so naturally. We’re incredibly grateful to have been part of it and to have a resource like this in the community creating opportunities for families to connect and make lasting memories.
